Today Team India is going to play all important Super8 match against West Indies . Team India needs to win this contest to stay alive in the competition . WestIndies also needs a win to stay in hunt for Semi-final berth.
Rest assured Indian team will have plenty of support from Indian expatriates , so there will be 50-50 crowd support for both the teams.
India shud bat first and make a decent score of arounf 155-160 that wud be enough to defend if the bowlers do a decent job.
Indian Batsmen shud not opt for slam-bang from the word go , because looking at the wickets in WestIndies the games r low scoring ones and the team batting first has more chance of winning the matches provided bowlers stick to their task.
I believe India shud open with Yusuf Pathan because he will be able to exploit fielding restriction and wud be more lethal as opener than batting lower down the order.
Though India lost the last match , they have no option but to stick with the same line-up they played against Australia. Team India needs to have the batting depth , had Rohit Sharma not played in the last match , Team India wud have got out below 100 against Australia.
