10 Reasons for Team India's Failure in T20 World Cup

Team India lost all their Super 8 matches and their preparation for T20 World Cup can be easily visualised by the fact that Gautam Gambhir in the last match against Sri-Lanka not once but twice didn't bother to use his bat while running between wickets and touched his foot inside the crease just like a 3 year old kid and not like a professional cricketer.

Team India's poor show in T20 World Cup can Contributed to following 10 reasons :

1) Virender Sehwag got Injured just before Departure for T20 World Cup . A Destructive Batsman and a match winner in all formats of the game was terribly missed.

2) Selection of Players who were Unfit and without motivation.

3) Lacking fire-power in Bowling , which was incapable in taking wickets at regular intervals.

4) Woefully out of form Batsmen. Out-of form Yuvraj Singh and Gambhir was a setback.

5) Failure of Developing Strategic Plans.

6) Leadership Failure.

7) Failure in having flexibility in batting order .
Failure in Using Yusuf Pathan at the top of batting order to exploit First 6 Overs fielding restrictions , sending him lower down the order didn't make sense.Pathan cud have played role of sehwag.

8) Fast Bowlers didn't really had pace for fast and bouncy pitches like the one at Barbados.

9) Fielding first even after winning the toss .
If your strength is batting as Dhoni says quite often so y not bat first and put a huge total and defend that total by putting opposition under pressure

10) Not Selecting players who excelled in IPL3.

Australians played against New-Zealand and in IPL and have come here in T20 World-Cup , but r they Complaining about fatigue , they seem to have struck gold and have not lost any form and don't have fitness issues after playing so much .
